As Head of Strategy, Kurt Wild is instrumental in devising our corporate strategy and responsible for its implementation. His long-term experience in a variety of global executive positions and his profound understanding of complex IT operating structures help Tradeware to define clear strategic objectives and to push forward with their consistent operational implementation. Roger Wullschleger
Head of Project Services
Roger Wullschleger heads the Project Services unit. He joined Tradeware in September 2020, bringing more than 25 years of experience as Oracle Presales and as presales manager to the job. Drawing on a wealth of knowledge about Oracle database platforms and on his extensive project and proof-of-concept experience, he ensures that even demanding client projects are successfully implemented. Roger is the main contact for any project involving Oracle database platforms – both on-premises and cloud based.

Head of Managed Services
Rolf Wild is in charge of the Managed Services unit. He joined Tradeware in January 2015, and brought more than 35 years of experience in various IT roles to the job. His activities focus specifically on Oracle database platforms because it is in their environment that he gathered his in-depth expertise over many years. His long-term experience provides him with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects relevant to an IT operation. Using a structured and target-oriented approach, he is the driving force behind the consistent expansion and scaling of Tradeware’s managed services. He serves as the single point of contact for any issue involving the stable, secure and efficient operation of Oracle database platforms.

Open position
As an important member of our service organization, you will take on a key role in the provision of holistic Oracle database solutions. Your job will be to ensure the proper performance, security and availability of Oracle databases for our varied clientèle and will act as competent liaison for demanding database subjects.
Your tasks
- 24/7 monitoring of, and support for, our clients’ Oracle databases to ensure a high level of availability and rapid troubleshooting
- Installing, configuring and upgrading Oracle databases on various platforms and in various versions
- Implementing and operating disaster recovery solutions, particularly Oracle Data Guard and Active Data Guard
- Running performance analyses, tuning and optimizing, using tools like AWR, ADDM and SQL Tuning Advisor
- Planning and implementing database migrations and upgrades, including cross-platform migrations of large databases
- Setting up, operating and maintaining Oracle RAC and ASM environments for high availability
- Developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies like RMAN and other Oracle utilities
- Administrating database security, including user and role management, encryption and periodic security audits
- Providing expert guidance to our clients in regard to database design, normalization and best practices
- Creating and maintaining shell scripts for the automation of recurring DBA tasks
- Closely collaborating with client and project teams to analyze and solve database-related issues
Your skill set
- Long-term experience as Oracle database administrator in complex environments
- Excellent skills in Oracle database administration (operation, tuning, security, backup & recovery)
- Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard and Active Data Guard
- Hands-on experience with database migrations, upgrades and performance optimization
- Proficiency in working with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
- Analytic, structured and solution-driven work approach
- Strong service and customer orientation and well-honed communication skills
- Fluency in German and English
